TOURNAMENT CHAIRMAN AND DIRECTOR BRYAN FINEBERG

Fineberg is a former nationally ranked junior tennis player who played at the Easter Bowl every year from the 14s to 18s. He played on the professional satellite circuit and earned ATP points. He has coached many top players and served as the director of tennis at a well-known Westchester Country Club for 15 years. He has also spent time as the director at tennis at resorts in both Lake Tahoe, Nev., and the Palm Springs area of Southern California.

Fineberg eventually transitioned into real estate development where he has worked the last 10 years. He sa ys he is proud to carry on the tradition of the Easter Bowl and maintain its reputation and quality. He has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and is the proud father to 10-year-old daughter Kelly.

 

TOURNAMENT FOUNDER SEENA HAMILTON BIO

Hamilton admits she didn't even know how to read a draw sheet way back in 1968 when she started what would become the premier junior tennis tournament in the nation: the annual Easter Bowl Junior National Championship which recently concluded its 42nd year. Published author, broadcaster and public relations expert, New York City's Hamilton has always been brought the major trends and issues of junior tennis to the forefront by holding seminars and lectures at the event that now takes place at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort in Rancho Mirage, Calif.

Hamilton has been a contributing writer for the New York Times, USA Today, Tennis Magazine and Tennis Week, just to name a few. She's been a columnist featuring advice health issues, education and travel for McCall's Magazine and Ladies Home Journal and is the author of the Random House published book New York on the Family Plan. She has also served as the editor and publisher of a leading hotel trade magazine.

Her radio and television career includes stints as a panelist on WNBC talk radio; show producer and co-host of the Health Show and the "The Tennis Voice" of WOR. She has served as a consultant for USA Network and in 1979 begun producing award-winning TV specials on the Easter Bowl that continue to be syndicated today.

Ham ilton is the founder and president of Seena Hamilton & Associates / Creative Tennis Marketing. As founder of the Easter Bowl, she has pioneered the corporate marketing of junior tennis by addressing critical issues like injuries, fitness, nutrition, and pressures of competition on behalf of sponsors all the while generating amazing amounts of national media coverage.

Commendations and awards have come from the White House, the governors of New York and Florida and the mayors of New York City and Dade County, Fla., and the USTA (2003 American Spirit Award; 2007 Special Recognition Award).
